The Mobile World Congress has made an important announcement about its keynote speakers for its meeting to be held on November 12, 2013. The meeting was seconded by the Chief Executive Officers of Alcatel-Lucent, Citigroup, EMC, Lookout and NTT DOCOMO.
In this meeting, the company also confirmed about its new partners, who will be participating in the features programs, which include App Developer Conferences, Partner Events, the Forum Series, Professional Training, and Power Hour sessions. It was also reported in the meeting that the Mobile World Congress 2014 will be held between 24 and 27 February in Barcelona.
The Chief Marketing Officer at GSMA has acknowledged the success of the company. It has attracted more than 72,000 professionals from the mobile industry in all over the world. That’s not all, as it has also attracted investors from vertical industries, which include healthcare, automobile, finance, and many more. The conference program of the company has also been empowered because of the addition of divisions such as Powered industries.
GSMA has confirmed new keynote speakers for the MWC congress. These include the following list of individuals:
- Michel Combes, CEO, Alcatel-Lucent
- Michael Corbat, CEO, Citigroup
- Joseph Tucci, Chairman and CEO, EMC Corporation
- John Hering, Co-Founder and CEO, Lookout
- Kaoru Kato, President and CEO, NTT DOCOMO
That was not all, as the GSMA also announced new partners and sponsors for the featured program. These partners are going to participate in a number of events such as Partner Events, App Developer Conferences, the Forum Series, Professional Training, and Power Hour sessions. The Mobile World Congress has signed an event partnership with The Wireless Broadband Alliance. It will be holding its inaugural Carrier Wi-Fi Summit at MWC. There are more event planners in the list too. They include CA Technologies, GTI, IBM, McCann World Group, and Taiwan Trade Center, Barcelona.
The mobile world congress has been representing the interest of the mobile operators from all over the world. Its span has outreached more than 220 countries. It has united more than 800 mobile operations and 250 mobile companies including the software companies, device makers, internet providers, and many more.
