About Cologne

The number of dmexco visitors from abroad is increasing every year. The Expo and the Conference offer the ideal framework for visitors to meet major agencies and brands and to talk with one another. That’s why Cologne will be “the place to be” for networking and business on September 2018.

Places to Stay

Staying in Cologne can be difficult to manage as the city is fairly big and the conference center on the outskirts of the city. Selecting the right accommodation in the right location is key to the success of your attendance and the image you want to give your clients.

At EAS, we have an extensive knowledge of the city and its hotels, the transportation tricks and ideal areas where your stay will be the most convenient and strategic.

A Cultural Treat

Tourist attractions and cultural events play a major role in the vibrant metropolis of Cologne. The city on the Rhine has plenty to offer in this regard. Everybody is probably familiar with Cologne Cathedral, which is always worth a visit. But the city also offers many other attractive highlights to culture-focused travellers and Cologne residents alike. They range from the city’s museums and Romanesque churches to a wide spectrum of fountains and monuments. You can walk through the quaint alleys of Cologne’s city centre, where you will find traditional buildings and innumerable breweries. An exciting contrast to this is posed by the ultramodern Rheinauhafen riverfront complex. The Cologne Opera, the Cologne Philharmonic Orchestra and the city’s many theatres offer a wide variety of concerts and other performances. You can select the events you would like to attend on the Web pages of the venue in question. Our website also includes an overview of other cultural events and highlights that are offered in Cologne throughout the year.

Getting There

Cologne Bonn Airport is the largest low-cost hub in continental Europe. Last year it handled about 10.7 million passengers. Around 60 airlines connect the Airport to over 130 domestic and international destinations in 39 countries. The airport is located approximately 17 km (10.5 miles) east of Central Cologne and within easy reach of the city centre.

Both terminal 1 (standard airlines) and terminal 2 (charter airlines) provide currency exchange facilities, information counters, and left luggage facilities. Beyond, you will find postal and banking services, shops and restaurants.
